Sequential Drawings is a long-term project by Moriz Oberberger, initiated in 2021. It grows from a continuous interest in transforming drawings through hand-drawn animation. The works can be read as unfolding thoughts or glimpses into imaginative worlds – always shaped by the act of transformation itself.
The project exists both as moving images and as printed matter. The animations are shown in screenings and hosted online, while the publications – developed with graphic designer Claes Storm – explore how sequences of images can be read in print. Released in small editions at irregular intervals, each reimagines the format and expands the project’s evolution.
